UNDERSTANDING FOOD PACKAGE LABELS
Before interpreting information on a food package label it first needs to be located , often the information is located on different parts of the label , and is visually represented in 2 ways
* MARKETING information = Large eyecatching text against a contrasting background ( aka we want you to see and read this )
* Ingredients = Small text against a NON-contrasting background
Small text against a NON-contrasting background
, often well away from the other texts ( have your magnifying glass with you )
# So do we just throw the contents into ourselves and others .... ???? ......to be more positive about this we need
